AWS Sign-in now supports resource-based policies and resource control policies
News
AWS Sign-in now supports resource-based policies and resource control policies (RCPs) for restricting AWS Management Console access to expected networks.
- Resource-based policies restrict sign-in for individual AWS accounts
- Resource control policies apply organization-wide through AWS Organizations
- Policies evaluated during sign-in and credential requests
- Combine with AWS Management Console Private Access for network and account control
- Available at no additional cost in all AWS commercial Regions
These policies enhance security by controlling both network access and account accessibility for console users.
