AWS announces standardized product metadata for Amazon Bedrock in AWS Data Exports, enabling FinOps teams to understand Bedrock costs with consistent, structured attributes.
- Standardized attributes include model provider, model name, pricing unit, inference type, and feature
- Unified "Amazon Bedrock" product family name consolidates all Bedrock costs
- Eliminates need for custom logic to parse product metadata in CUR 2.0
- Available by default at no additional cost to Amazon Bedrock customers
- Data can be exported to Amazon S3 for querying with Athena or data warehouse loading
Standardized Bedrock metadata simplifies cost attribution and analysis for cloud administrators.
