AWS Application and Network Load Balancers now support RFC 9151 compliant security policies

AWS Application Load Balancer (ALB) and Network Load Balancer (NLB) now support RFC 9151 compliant TLS security policies meeting NSA's Commercial National Security Algorithm (CNSA) 1.0 requirements.
- Implement NSA-defined cryptographic requirements for TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 protocols
- Support broader interoperability policies for gradual client transition to RFC 9151 compliance
- Available in all AWS Commercial Regions, GovCloud (US), and China regions at no additional cost
- Configure via AWS Management Console, CLI, API, or SDK for new or existing listeners
Organizations requiring CNSA 1.0 compliance can now secure their load balancers while maintaining compatibility with non-compliant clients during transition periods.
