Amazon Redshift now supports long-term retention for system table data through native integration with Amazon S3 Tables, extending retention beyond the current 7-day limit.
- System table data automatically written to S3 Tables in Apache Iceberg format with managed partitioning and compaction

- Consolidate system table data from multiple data warehouses into a single location for cross-warehouse analysis
- Query data through Redshift, Amazon Athena, or any Iceberg-compatible engine without additional overhead
