Amazon SES now supports open and click tracking override parameters
News
Amazon SES now supports open and click tracking override parameters in SendEmail and SendBulkEmail APIs, enabling per-request tracking control.
- Specify tracking preferences directly in send requests instead of managing separate configuration sets
- Override parameters take precedence over configuration set tracking behavior
- Simplifies honoring recipient-level tracking consent for GDPR and CNIL compliance
- No additional cost; available in all AWS Regions where SES operates
This feature reduces configuration overhead by allowing fine-grained tracking control on individual API calls.
