Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL-Compatible Edition now supports five new minor versions with bug fixes and Aurora-specific enhancements.
- Supported versions: PostgreSQL 18.4, 17.10, 16.14, 15.18, and 14.23
- Includes bug fixes from PostgreSQL community and Aurora-specific improvements
- Addresses known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
- Enable automatic minor version upgrades for simplified operations
- Use AWS Organizations Upgrade Rollout Policy to orchestrate phased upgrades
- Aurora offers serverless compute, Global Database, and I/O-Optimized options
Upgrading to these latest versions improves security and performance for Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
