Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL-Compatible Edition now supports PostgreSQL versions 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 with community bug fixes and Aurora-specific enhancements.
- New versions include bug fixes and address Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
- Enable automatic minor version upgrades for simplified operations at scale
- Use AWS Organizations Upgrade Rollout Policy to orchestrate phased upgrades across environments
- Aurora offers serverless compute, Global Database, I/O-Optimized options, and built-in security
