Amazon RDS for SQL Server now supports the latest Cumulative Updates (CU) for Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2025 CU6.
- Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2025 CU6 (KB5093421, RDS version 17.00.4055.5.v1)
- Includes latest improvements and fixes from Microsoft cumulative updates
- Upgrade available via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Recommended to upgrade instances to apply these updates
Users can upgrade their RDS SQL Server instances using the AWS Management Console or command-line tools to benefit from the latest improvements and security fixes.
