This article announces that Amazon RDS Custom for SQL Server now supports the latest Cumulative Updates for Microsoft SQL Server.
- Support for SQL Server 2022 CU26 (KB5093420, RDS version 16.00.4265.3.v1)
- Includes improvements and fixes from Microsoft's cumulative update
- Upgrade available via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Refer to Amazon RDS Custom User Guide for upgrade instructions
Users can now apply the latest SQL Server updates to their RDS Custom instances for improved performance and security.
