Amazon RDS for SQL Server now supports the latest Cumulative Updates, including Microsoft SQL Server 2025 CU8 (RDS version 17.00.4075.5.v1).
- Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2025 CU8 (KB5104822) now available
- Includes latest improvements and fixes from Microsoft
- Upgrade available via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Recommended to upgrade instances to apply security and performance updates
Users can upgrade their RDS SQL Server instances using the AWS Management Console or command-line tools to benefit from the latest cumulative updates.
