Amazon GameLift Servers now offers Enhanced DDoS Protection, automatically protecting game servers from common network and transport layer DDoS attacks with no configuration required.

• Automatically active for all GameLift Servers with no setup or opt-in needed
• Defends against volumetric attacks including UDP reflection and SYN floods at layers 3-4
• Gaming-optimized traffic shaping based on experience protecting world's largest games
• Builds on AWS Shield Standard baseline protection for all AWS services
• Player Gateway option available for stronger protection against sophisticated attacks
• Available at no additional cost in all regions except China (Beijing and Ningxia)
• Requires Amazon GameLift Servers SDK 5 (SDKv5)
