Amazon Redshift now supports Amazon Kinesis Data Streams record sizes up to 10 MiB, matching the expanded maximum in KDS.
- 10x increase from previous 1 MiB record size limit
- Stream larger payloads directly into Redshift without splitting records
- Simplifies ingestion pipelines for high-volume, large-record workloads
- Available in all commercial AWS regions where Redshift is available
This enhancement enables more efficient data streaming workflows by eliminating the need to fragment large records before ingestion.
