AWS Transfer Family now lets you choose custom CloudWatch log groups for managed workflow execution logs, enabling better organization and monitoring of individual or related workflows.
- Select workflow-level log groups separate from server log groups when creating workflows
- No server logging role required when using custom log destinations
- Consolidate logs from multiple workflows into shared log groups for unified metrics
- Workflow logs maintain structured JSON format and remain queryable with CloudWatch Logs Insights
- Existing workflows continue using current logging configuration
- Available in all AWS Regions where Transfer Family managed workflows are offered
This enhancement provides greater flexibility in organizing and monitoring Transfer Family workflow logs across different use cases.
