News

AWS AppSync has introduced support for logging GraphQL data plane operations using AWS CloudTrail, providing enhanced visibility and security for application developers.

  • Enables logging of GraphQL API activities, including queries, mutations, subscriptions, and WebSocket connection requests
  • Captures detailed information such as:
    • Specific API requests
    • IP address of the requester
    • Requester's identity
    • Date and time of the request
  • Supports logging configuration through AWS CloudTrail Console or CloudTrail APIs
  • Available in all commercial AWS Regions where AppSync is supported

This feature helps organizations improve operational auditing, governance, and compliance by providing comprehensive tracking of GraphQL API interactions.
