News

AWS AppSync now supports cross-account sharing of GraphQL APIs through AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM), enabling more flexible and secure API management across multiple AWS accounts.

  • Customers can now share GraphQL APIs configured with IAM authorization, including private APIs
  • Eliminates the need for complex networking infrastructure to share APIs between accounts
  • Allows centralized API management from a dedicated account
  • Enables sharing APIs with different teams or third parties within an organization
  • Optional CloudTrail integration for enhanced security and visibility

This feature simplifies API governance, improves security, and supports more scalable multi-account architectures across all AWS Regions where AppSync is available.
