AWS AppSync GraphQL has enhanced its support for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and MySQL with new resolver utilities in JavaScript.
- Expanded select utility for more flexible SQL statements
- Supports various join types: inner, left, right, full outer, and natural joins
- Added aggregate helpers like min, max, sum, avg, and count
- Enables support for "group by" and "having" statements
- Allows table and column aliases
- Supports custom SQL conditions using tagged templates
The new features are available in all AWS Regions where AppSync is offered, providing developers with more powerful and flexible GraphQL API development tools.
