CloudWatch RUM now supports percentile aggregations and simplified troubleshooting with web vitals metrics

AWS CloudWatch Real User Monitoring (RUM) has introduced new features to enhance web application performance monitoring:
- Added support for percentile aggregation of web vital metrics, specifically the 75th percentile (p75)
- Monitors Core Web Vitals including Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, and Cumulative Layout Shift
- Enables simplified troubleshooting by allowing users to click on Web Vitals graph points to view correlated page events
- Provides detailed event information including browser, device, and geolocation
- Allows tracking of affected users and sessions for in-depth performance analysis
- Available in all CloudWatch RUM regions at no additional cost
These enhancements help developers quickly identify and resolve performance issues that impact user experience, aligning with Google's web performance ranking criteria.
