AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 P5en instances, featuring NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs and advanced networking capabilities.
- Powered by 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 3.2 GHz all-core turbo frequency
- Offers up to 3200 Gbps of third-generation Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFAv3) networking
- Provides 35% improvement in latency compared to previous P5 instances
- Supports distributed training for deep learning, generative AI, and high-performance computing
- Available in US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) regions
The P5en instances are designed to improve performance for machine learning and inference workloads, with enhanced CPU-GPU data transfer and networking capabilities.
