Amazon Location Service has expanded its network support by introducing dual-stack endpoints that enable connectivity using IPv6, IPv4, or both protocols.

  • Dual-stack endpoints now available through a new AWS DNS domain name
  • Existing endpoints remain backward-compatible for smooth transition
  • Supports the internet's expansion and addressing IPv4 address depletion
  • Allows businesses to gradually migrate to IPv6-based architectures
