Amazon MSK Connect APIs now support AWS PrivateLink, enhancing security and connectivity for Kafka-related services.

  • Allows invoking MSK Connect APIs from within Amazon VPC without using public internet
  • Ensures communication between MSK Clusters and connectors remains private
  • Enables clients with strict security requirements to perform connector management actions
  • Supports creating, listing, describing, and updating connectors via private endpoint
  • Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon MSK Connect is supported

This update provides enhanced network security and privacy for Amazon MSK Connect users by leveraging AWS PrivateLink technology.
