Amazon EventBridge has introduced a new feature allowing direct event delivery to AWS services across different accounts, enhancing cross-account event routing and architecture design.
- Enables direct routing of events to services in another AWS account without additional infrastructure
- Supports cross-account delivery to targets like SQS, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, and API Gateway
- Simplifies event-driven architectures by reducing complexity and operational overhead
- Requires only IAM permissions from the receiving account
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions
This feature improves security, reduces architectural complexity, and provides more flexible event routing between different AWS accounts.
