Amazon EventBridge has expanded IAM execution role support to include Lambda, SNS, and SQS event bus targets, making this feature available for all target types.
- Provides fine-grained control over AWS service and resource access
- Enables consistent permissions policies across all EventBridge targets
- Allows setting permissions for multiple targets within a single IAM policy
- Helps manage throughput using account-specific limits
- Available in all AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US)
