Amazon FSx now supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) on FSx Service APIs

Amazon FSx has added support for Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) across its Service APIs, providing customers with enhanced networking capabilities.

  • Supports IPv6 for accessing Amazon FSx Service APIs
  • Helps customers address IPv4 address exhaustion
  • Meets government mandates like US OMB M-21-07 memorandum
  • Enables dual-stack Amazon FSx Service endpoints
  • Available in all commercial, AWS GovCloud (US), and AWS China regions

This update allows customers to standardize their applications and workflows using the newer Internet Protocol version across their Amazon FSx resources.
