Amazon FSx for OpenZFS now supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), offering customers more flexible network access options.
- Enables file system access via IPv4, IPv6, or dual-stack clients
- Helps mitigate IPv4 address exhaustion
- Supports government mandates like US OMB M-21-07
- Available in all AWS Commercial, GovCloud (US), and AWS China regions
- No complex infrastructure needed for IPv6 to IPv4 address translation
This update provides customers with more networking flexibility and helps organizations modernize their network infrastructure.
