News
Amazon Redshift Serverless now offers two release tracks to provide more flexibility and control over system updates:
- Current Track: Latest certified release with newest features and security updates
- Trailing Track: Previous certified release for additional testing and validation
- Default setting creates workgroups in Current Track
- Allows users to test updates before deploying to production
- Supports maximum stability for mission-critical workloads
Users can easily switch between tracks with a few clicks in the Amazon Redshift console, and the feature is available in all commercial AWS regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
