AWS has expanded the availability of AWS Directory Service for Microsoft AD and AD Connector to the Mexico Central and Thailand regions.

  • AWS Managed Microsoft AD allows migration of AD-aware applications to AWS Cloud
  • Enables domain joining of EC2 instances using Microsoft AD credentials
  • Supports managing identities in existing Microsoft AD or AWS managed directory
  • AD Connector acts as a proxy for using on-premises AD identities in AWS
  • Allows joining EC2 instances to on-premises AD domains

This expansion provides more organizations in Mexico and Thailand with flexible identity management solutions in the AWS Cloud.
