Amazon API Gateway (APIGW) has launched dual-stack support for endpoints, enabling simultaneous connectivity for both IPv4 and IPv6 clients.
- Supports dual-stack for REST, HTTP, and WebSocket APIs
- Enables gradual transition from IPv4 to IPv6 environments
- Helps meet IPv6 compliance requirements
- Avoids IPv4 address constraints
- No additional charges for the feature
The capability is now available across all API Gateway commercial and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, providing more flexible networking options for developers.
