AWS CDK Construct Library for Amazon EventBridge Scheduler now generally available

AWS has announced the general availability of the AWS CDK Construct Library for Amazon EventBridge Scheduler, which provides developers with enhanced infrastructure-as-code capabilities for scheduling tasks.

  • Enables programmatic creation of scheduled tasks using preferred programming languages
  • Supports defining schedules with cron or rate expressions
  • Allows configuration of target destinations like Lambda functions and SQS queues
  • Provides type-safe programming for scheduling infrastructure
  • Available in all regions where Amazon EventBridge Scheduler is supported

The new construct library simplifies event-driven application development by offering more flexible and maintainable task scheduling options through infrastructure as code.
