Amazon EventBridge Archive and Replay now supports AWS Key Management Service (KMS) customer managed keys for encrypting archived events.
- Provides enhanced encryption options for archived events
- Allows customers to choose between AWS owned keys and customer managed keys
- Supports meeting specific security and governance requirements
- Enables encryption of events stored in EventBridge Archive
- Available in all AWS Regions where Archive and Replay is offered
- No additional cost beyond standard AWS KMS pricing
This update gives users more control over event encryption and helps organizations meet compliance and security standards for event archiving.
