AWS End User Messaging now supports IPv6

AWS has announced IPv6 support for End User Messaging, allowing customers to use Internet Protocol version 6 addresses for their service endpoints.

  • Customers can now run endpoints on networks supporting both IPv4 and IPv6
  • Supports the growing needs of mobile applications, connected devices, and IoT
  • IPv6 provides significantly more available network addresses
  • Eliminates the need to manage overlapping address spaces in VPCs
  • Available in all regions where AWS End User Messaging is offered
  • Customers can migrate using AWS CLI

The update enables easier network management and supports the ongoing industry transition to IPv6 technology.
