News

Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) has introduced support for IPv6 when connecting to SES outbound sending endpoints.

  • Customers can now specify their preference for IPv4 or IPv6 endpoints using AWS SDK or CLI
  • Previously, connections to SES endpoints were limited to IPv4 addresses
  • Users can set address type preference via environment variable or command line argument
  • IPv6 support is available in all AWS Regions where SES is offered

This update provides more flexibility for customers in network connection methods when using Amazon SES for outbound email sending.
