Amazon EventBridge now supports cross-account event delivery in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, enabling more flexible and streamlined event-driven architectures.
- Allows direct event routing between AWS accounts in US-East and US-West GovCloud Regions
- Supports sending events to multiple AWS services in different accounts
- Compatible with targets like SQS, Lambda, Kinesis Data Streams, SNS, and API Gateway
- Eliminates need for intermediary infrastructure like additional Event Bus or Lambda functions
- Simplifies architecture and reduces overall operational complexity
The feature is now available in all AWS commercial Regions and both GovCloud Regions, providing enhanced cross-account event management capabilities.
