Amazon ElastiCache now supports Global Datastore in 15 additional Regions

Amazon ElastiCache has expanded Global Datastore support to 15 additional Regions, enhancing cross-Region replication capabilities for Redis clusters.
- Regions added include Asia Pacific, Africa, Canada, Europe, Israel, Mexico, and Middle East
- Enables cross-Region data replication with sub-one-second latency
- Supports disaster recovery with fast cluster promotion (under one minute)
- Provides encryption in transit for secure cross-Region data transfer
- Can be configured via AWS Management Console, SDK, or CLI
Global Datastore allows applications to maintain low-latency reads across Regions and ensures high availability by enabling quick failover between replica clusters.
