Amazon Aurora Global Database has expanded its support to allow up to 10 secondary Region clusters, improving scalability and availability for globally distributed applications.
- Previous limit was 5 secondary Regions
- Enables disaster recovery from Region-wide outages
- Provides fast local reads across multiple global regions
- Supports a larger global footprint for applications
- Part of Amazon Aurora's high-performance database offering
This update enhances Aurora's ability to support global applications with improved redundancy and reduced latency across multiple geographic regions.
