Amazon ECS has introduced a new feature for 1-click rollbacks of service deployments, simplifying the process of reverting to a previous stable state.
- Enables automatic rollback using the new stopDeployment API action
- Works with existing deployment circuit breaker and CloudWatch Alarm mechanisms
- Automatically rolls back to the last service revision that reached steady state
- Available through AWS Management Console, API, SDK, and CLI
- Supports rollbacks across all AWS Regions
