News
AWS Compute Optimizer now offers a new feature to identify idle EC2 Auto Scaling groups with GPU instances (G and P types), helping organizations optimize their cloud spending.
- Detects Auto Scaling groups with GPU instances that have completed jobs and remained idle
- Requires enabling the NVIDIA CloudWatch agent for utilization data analysis
- Helps prevent waste on high-cost GPU instance types
- Available in most AWS Regions except AWS GovCloud and China Regions
- Recommendations will be accessible in Cost Optimization Hub
