AWS Private CA now supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6)

AWS Private Certificate Authority (Private CA) now supports IPv6 with new dual-stack endpoints, enhancing network connectivity and flexibility.

  • Customers can now connect to AWS Private CA using IPv6, IPv4, or dual-stack clients
  • Supports downloading Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) and checking OCSP status over IPv6
  • AWS Private CA Connectors for Active Directory and SCEP now support IPv6
  • Existing IPv4 endpoints remain available for backward compatibility
  • IPv6 support is available in all AWS Regions, including GovCloud and China Regions

This update provides more flexible network connectivity options for organizations using AWS Private CA to manage digital certificates.
