Amazon Cloud Map now supports cross-account service discovery through Amazon Resource Access Manager (Amazon RAM), enabling enhanced resource sharing and management across multiple AWS accounts.
- Allows sharing of Cloud Map namespaces across individual accounts, Organizational Units, or entire AWS Organizations
- Enables discovery of resources like ECS tasks, EC2 instances, and DynamoDB tables across accounts
- Platform engineers can maintain centralized service registries and share them easily
- Simplifies service discovery and reduces resource duplication
- Available in AWS China (Beijing and Ningxia) regions via Console, API, SDK, CLI, and CloudFormation
