News

AWS has significantly increased the directory sharing limits for AWS Managed Microsoft AD, allowing for more scalable and simplified Active Directory infrastructure:

  • Standard Edition limit increased from 5 to 25 AWS account shares
  • Enterprise Edition limit expanded from 125 to 500 AWS account shares
  • Enables centralized authentication and management across multiple AWS accounts
  • Reduces operational complexity of directory management
  • Available in all current AWS Regions supporting Managed Microsoft AD

This enhancement helps enterprise customers consolidate their directory infrastructure and simplify multi-account authentication strategies with a single managed directory.
