- Enables pausing and resuming replication at specific log positions
- Facilitates faster recovery compared to traditional point-in-time restore operations
- Available in all AWS Regions with RDS for PostgreSQL, including AWS GovCloud (US)
- No additional cost beyond standard RDS pricing
