AWS Network Firewall has launched new ReceivedBytes metrics for Amazon CloudWatch, providing enhanced traffic monitoring capabilities for network security.

  • Enables monitoring of total incoming traffic bytes inspected by firewalls
  • Offers visibility into network traffic volume for better capacity planning
  • Allows customers to optimize network configurations and potentially reduce costs
  • Provides separate metrics for stateless and stateful engine traffic
  • Available in all AWS Regions that support AWS Network Firewall

The new metrics can be accessed through Amazon CloudWatch, facilitating easier integration with existing monitoring and alerting systems.
