AWS has announced the general availability of Organizational Notification Configurations for AWS User Notifications, enabling centralized notification management across AWS Organizations.
- Management Accounts or Delegated Administrators can configure notifications for specific organizational units or entire organizations
- Supports up to 5 Delegated Administrators
- Can set up notifications for any supported Amazon EventBridge Event
- Example use case: Detect console logins without multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Notifications appear in the Admin's Console Notifications Center and AWS Console Mobile Application
- Available in all AWS Regions where AWS User Notifications is supported
This feature allows organizations to centrally monitor and receive alerts across multiple accounts, enhancing security and operational visibility.
