This article announces that Amazon MQ now supports Java Messaging Service (JMS) specification for RabbitMQ 4 brokers through the RabbitMQ JMS Topic Exchange plugin.
- RabbitMQ 4 brokers can now connect to JMS applications via JMS client
- JMS topic exchange plugin enabled by default on all RabbitMQ 4 brokers
- Supports JMS 1.1, JMS 2.0, and JMS 3.1 applications
- Enables interoperability and migration between JMS and AMQP workloads
- Available with RabbitMQ 4.2 using M7g instance type
- Available in all regions where Amazon MQ RabbitMQ 4 is supported
