AWS End User Messaging now supports rich media and interactive messaging for RCS across all 22 supported countries with the new SendRcsMessage API.
- Send rich cards, carousels, images, videos, and interactive suggestion buttons directly in messaging apps
- Recipients can confirm appointments, browse catalogs, complete payments, share location, or interact with AI without leaving messaging app
- Supports four message types: text, files, rich cards, and carousels
- Six action types available: replies, URLs, webviews, phone calls, maps, and calendar events
- Configurable SMS or MMS fallback for non-RCS recipients
- RCS Conversation pricing in 21 countries with flat rate for unlimited messages in 24-hour sessions
RCS messaging integrates AWS backend services and AI directly into user conversations, available across all AWS Regions supporting End User Messaging.
