Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) now supports VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0 and 9.1, allowing customers to run the latest VCF software on EC2 bare-metal instances within their VPC.

  • Run VCF 9.0 and 9.1 directly on Amazon EC2 bare-metal instances
  • Maintain complete control over installation, operations, and management
  • Use existing tools, processes, and skills from on-premises data centers
  • Solutions for EVS GitHub repository launched with templates and infrastructure as code
  • Available in all regions where Amazon EVS is offered

This release enables organizations to extend their VMware virtualization expertise to AWS while maintaining operational consistency with their existing environments.
