Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports extracting memories from non-conversational JSON payloads
News
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now accepts JSON payloads on the CreateEvent API, enabling agents to extract long-term memories from structured data without converting to conversation format.
- Pass behavioral events, activity logs, system events, and other JSON data (up to 100 KB per payload) directly to extraction pipeline
- Extraction pipeline generates memories across four strategies: semantic, user preference, summarization, and episodic
- No need to reshape data into synthetic conversation messages first
- Available today in all regions where AgentCore Memory is supported
- Fully compatible with existing features
This enhancement simplifies memory extraction for agents by enabling direct ingestion of structured data sources.
