Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports flexible namespace variables

News

This article announces flexible namespace variables for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory, enabling developers to scope long-term memories along application-specific dimensions.

  • Define keys on memory resources and reference them in strategy namespace templates
  • Supply namespace variable values at runtime through the CreateEvent API
  • Support up to five keys per memory resource, referenceable across multiple strategies
  • Enables fine-grained control over memory organization, isolation, and access
  • Available in all AWS Regions where AgentCore Memory is generally available at no additional cost

Flexible namespace variables provide multi-tenant and complex-hierarchy applications with improved memory scoping without duplicating strategies.
