AWS CloudHSM launches new hsm2m.medium instance type

AWS CloudHSM has launched a new hsm2m.medium instance type with support for FIPS 140-3 Level 3 and non-FIPS CloudHSM clusters. This new instance type offers several improvements and new features over the existing hsm1.medium.

  • Increased key capacity and higher elliptic curve performance compared to hsm1.medium
