Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) has launched Global Endpoints, a new feature designed to enhance email sending resilience across multiple AWS Regions.
- Allows customers to choose a primary and secondary Region for email sending
- Automatically load balances email traffic between two Regions
- Provides automatic failover if one Region experiences an impairment
- Simplifies multi-region setup by synchronizing verified identities and configurations
- Compatible with existing SES features like Dedicated IPs and Virtual Deliverability Manager
- Available across all commercial AWS Regions where SES is supported
Global Endpoints offers a seamless way to improve email sending reliability by distributing workloads and ensuring continuous email delivery during regional disruptions.
