Amazon SES now offers Global Endpoints for multi-region sending resilience

Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) has launched Global Endpoints, a new feature designed to enhance email sending resilience across multiple AWS Regions.

  • Allows customers to choose a primary and secondary Region for email sending
  • Automatically load balances email traffic between two Regions
  • Provides automatic failover if one Region experiences an impairment
  • Simplifies multi-region setup by synchronizing verified identities and configurations
  • Compatible with existing SES features like Dedicated IPs and Virtual Deliverability Manager
  • Available across all commercial AWS Regions where SES is supported

Global Endpoints offers a seamless way to improve email sending reliability by distributing workloads and ensuring continuous email delivery during regional disruptions.
