<li>Default task duration remains 7 days</li>
<li>Allows flexible handling of different task urgencies</li>
<li>Less urgent tasks like monthly notifications can remain active longer</li>
<li>Urgent tasks can still be quickly escalated to supervisors</li>
</ul>

The feature is available across all AWS regions where Amazon Connect is offered, improving agent productivity and customer issue resolution.
